Groundstar Vineyard™ to Host The Wilderness Table: A Culinary Celebration of Local Flavors and Conservation

LOMPOC, CA — April 11, 2025 — Groundstar Vineyard™ is thrilled to announce that we will host The Wilderness Table on May 4, 2025, an extraordinary event that pairs the best of the California Central Coast’s food and wine with a passionate commitment to environmental stewardship. This immersive outdoor dining experience is set amidst the scenic beauty of our biodynamic vineyard and regenerative ranch in the heart of Sta. Rita Hills.

The Wilderness Table invites guests to indulge in a feast for the senses while supporting a vital cause—Los Padres ForestWatch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the Los Padres National Forest and our region’s wild lands.

Guests will be welcomed at 3:00 PM with a reception featuring organic handcrafted cocktails by Rock 12 Distillery and artfully curated grazing boards by renowned Chef Jake O. Francis and his talented team. A guided vineyard tour led by Chiara Shannon, sommelier and co-owner of Groundstar Vineyard, will follow, offering guests an intimate look at our sustainable farming practices and breathtaking landscape.

At 5:00 PM, attendees will be seated for a spectacular spring dinner prepared by Chef Francis. The meal will highlight locally sourced ingredients and be perfectly paired with local organic and biodynamic wines.

This exclusive and intimate gathering will be held outdoors in our vineyard setting. Guests are encouraged to come prepared for the elements with comfortable shoes, layered attire, and sun protection.
